The West Indies side that I knew while growing up had Gordon Greenidge and Roy Fredericks at the top of the order. Probably like most people of my age, the thing I most remember about Fredericks was his dismissal at the 1975 World Cup final – treading on his stumps after hooking Dennis Lillee for 6.
