Sometimes you make a special trip to a cricket club and it’s everything you hoped it would be. Here we had a well-kept ground in a pleasant village, and if you don’t like cricket, you can take in the diversion of Little John’s grave which is located in the neighbouring church. This is Hathersage Cricket Club in the Peak District, from June 2021, when we were slowly waking up post-lockdown.
